Lee Kang Hyo Gye Hal Style Tea Bowls

These are some rather random shots of two dynamic Lee Kang Hyo tea bowls. Lee Kang Hyo's Gye Yal style is bold, as if challenging the untethered mind.

nice really ! is that buncheong technic ? I see some pieces from 2 corean artists i meet in Geneva ( see my post of 21 july) and i wonder if there is the same because of the dark color of the earth and over a white plit .

Ginkgo,

Huh Sang Wook is one of the most famous ceramicists in Korea for Pak Ji and Pu Jak style of buncheon. They are very difficult styles to master.

Ginkgo,

Think one has a few shots of some Huh Sang Wook Pak Ji style hot water kettles. Will try to track them down and post some for you.

:)
